S2 Episode 5 – The Southerners

A pleasant eve to you, fellow D-Bags! We’ve got an extra long episode this week which features our group’s first dungeon and our first battle with some classic D&D monsters. For this episode, we tried out Roll20, which is a great program, but not as fun to listen to for a podcast, so we stopped using it in later episodes.

Fun fact: The alternative title for this episode is “Everything is Canon Because I’m an Idiot”, which remains a true statement. Anyway, check it out and enjoy my journey toward becoming a passable Dungeon Master!

S2 Episode 3 – …With Passion!

Good morrow, fellow D-bags! In this week’s episode, our heroes meet a mysterious figure, we get a taste of real battle, and Joe forgets how critical hits work (I swear, I get better at this whole “DM” thing. This was my third time doing it).

Anyway, check it out! If you like what you hear, find us on Facebook or something.

S2 Episode 2 – You Wanna End this Campaign Right Now?

Happy Belated Mardi Gras, fellow D-bags! Due to technical difficulties, this is being posted a little late, but, I mean, we warned you the podcast was run by D-bags, so I don’t know what you expected honestly. Here’s episode 2, where our protagonists choose their quest and their companion.

Which quest would you have chosen? Which companion? Let us know in the comments.

Season 2: Episode 1 – We’re Going to Flavor Town!

Here it is! Almost a year ago, we had to abandon our previous campaign due to a number of issues that left Frankie unable to DM for us. After a few months of being stuck in stasis, Joe took the reigns as DM and we added two new cast members: our good friends Charlie and Avi. Although we couldn’t directly continue the story of Aati & Illum, we decided to set this new campaign in the same world exactly 1 month after the end of Season 1. If you haven’t listened to a single episode before, this is a fine “jumping on” point. There will be plenty of references to season 1 for our previous listener(s), but you don’t have to know anything about season 1 in order to understand what is happening in this new campaign.

Without further ado, I present to you: Season 2! We’ve got a lot of stuff coming out soon including more episodes and awesome character art, so be on the lookout for that!

Episode 34 – It Might have Been Satan and a Wolf

Be my Valentine, fellow D-Bags! In this week’s thrilling conclusion to season 1, we finally find out what will become of Aati & Illum before we move on to a whole new set of characters next week with the start of Season 2. Spoiler alert: we don’t defeat Malexxis this week, so you can expect that plotline to be picked up in Season 2, which takes place in the same world exactly one month after the end of this episode. We may be done with these characters for now, but their actions will have some important effects on the upcoming episodes. For the ones who survive to the end of this episode, maybe you’ll even see them make a surprise appearance as guests in the next season!

If you don’t care or you don’t like this podcast, then this episode may not be for you, but feel free to listen anyway!

Episode 30 – Don’t Look a Gift Horse in its Ass

Surprise, fellow D-Bags! After almost a year of non-existence due to personal/health issues, we are back from the dead! Joe is running this podcast now, so we’ll be posting weekly once more! This is the first of 5 “lost” episodes of DnDBags season 1. We’ve got season 2 coming out in a few weeks. Joe is the DM now, we’ve got a few new players, and a brand new cast of characters. But what does this mean for our heroes Aati & Illum?! Listen up and find out if you’re interested (or don’t if you’d rather not. I can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do).
